POLKA (the Police On-Line Knowledge Area) is a secure online collaboration tool which enables the police and selected government organisations to network, collaborate and share information.
Content is user-generated and users can join communities to network, share documents, discuss best practice, suggest new ways of working, ask questions, and learn from others. POLKA displays information as it is posted, enabling access to the latest discussions and keeping users up-to-date on current issues.
To join POLKA, you must register using a PNN (Police National Network) or selected GSI (Government Secure Intranet) email address. You can only login on a work network as POLKA is not accessible to the general public.
Due to the restricted content of some of our information and material, access to these can only be viewed via the POLKA website on our NABIS Criminal Use of Firearms page.
