Birmingham Man Charged With Gun Offence

A Birmingham man will appear in court after officers were called to reports that a gun had been fired in Bartley Green on Saturday (14 Feb).
John Kingscott, of Ambleside in Bartley Green, has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
The unemployed 61-year-old was remanded in custody and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (16 Feb).
A 24-year-old man was injured during the incident and taken to hospital. His condition is not life threatening.
