Crimestoppers Take Part In Giving Tuesday
2nd December 2014
Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving that falls on 2nd December. It was started in 2012 as a response to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, reportedly the two busiest shopping days in the run up to the festive season.
Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to come together to show the world why it's good to give. Whether it's making a donation, volunteering your time or just spreading the word at the start of the festive shopping season, Giving Tuesday is a call to action for everyone who wants to give something back.
Now a global movement covering countries like the U.S., Australia, Singapore and Canada, 2014 is the first time the campaign has been launched in the UK and we'd like you to get involved!
#BeACrimestopper this Giving Tuesday
As a national crime-fighting charity, Crimestoppers' Giving Tuesday campaign is called #BeACrimestopper, because we're encouraging you to do just that.
