DEATH OF POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER BOB JONES

Head of NABIS, Detective Chief Superintendent Iain O'Brien, has added his condolences following the death of West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner Bob Jones CBE.

Mr Jones, aged 59, passed away at home on Monday night (30 June) and had served as PCC after being elected in November 2012.

Det Chief Supt O'Brien said: "I was very sorry to hear of Bob's death and our thoughts are with his family and friends.

"Bob was a great supporter of NABIS and recently visited our Birmingham hub where he showed great interest in the work we do.
