Large Reward On Offer After Gun Murder

Police are offering a reward for the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the murder of Andre Marshall.

Abdul Ashan,19, was arrested on suspicion of murder of in May this year. He failed to answer police bail in July and police are now seeking him in order to question him further.

A £10,000 reward is being offered for any information which leads police to Ashan's arrest.

The murder took place in the early hours of Weds 20 May 2015. Police were called to Manor Park at 7.30am after the body of 29-year-old Andre Marshall was discovered

Andre had suffered gunshot wounds to his torso and leg. A post-mortem examination later established he had died from gunshot wounds.

So far two men have been charged in connection with the murder

Police are still keen to speak to the driver of a white van that was captured on CCTV driving in the area.

The van had to brake heavily to avoid colliding with a silver BMW that pulled out from Manor Avenue onto Stretford Road at 12.45am in the early hours of Wednesday 20 May.

The driver is not a suspect, but may be able to help police with enquiries.
