Man Shot In The Arm In Lambeth

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot in the arm in Lambeth. Officers were called shortly after 01:00hrs on Wednesday, 10 January to reports of a shooting at a fast food restaurant in Stockwell Road, SW9.

Officers, including firearms and recovery dogs, alongside London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended. A male in his 30s was found suffering from a gun shot wound to his left arm. He was taken to hospital by the LAS and remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Officers from the Met's Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the attack to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 020 8247 4877 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
