Merseyside Officers Give Suspects An Early Wake Up Call

Officers from Merseyside's Matrix Serious Organised Crime (MSOC) team have given a number of suspected criminals an early morning wake up call today (Thursday, 16 April), after 17 warrants were executed across the county.
Officers visited properties in Old Swan, Liverpool city centre and Huyton as part of a 12-month long operation into tackling serious and organised crime.
This morning15 people have been arrested on suspicion of a range of offences including drug supply. Searches of all the properties are on-going.
Detective Supt Chris Green, from the Matrix Serious Organised Crime team, said: "This morning's activity demonstrates our continued commitment to fighting serious and organised crime within these communities.
"This operation was carried out following an extensive policing operation and also in response to concerns raised by the local community."
