Met Police Investigate Firearms Incident

Police were called at approximately 15:10hrs on Sunday, 21 June, to reports of shots fired at a car in the vicinity of Gloucester Terrace, W2.

The car - a black Range Rover - subsequently collided with a block of flats in Cleveland Terrace, W2.

The only occupant of the car was the driver, a 32-year-old man. He was not injured and remained at the scene of the collision.

A male suspect, in possession of a handgun, fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of police.

Detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating.

There has been no arrest at this time.
