Murder Appeal After Shooting In London

Detectives are appealing for information following a murder in Thamesmead.
Police were called to Erebus Drive, SE28, to reports of shots fired at 04:30hrs on Sunday, 1 February.
Borough officers made their way to the scene.
While on their way to the incident, the officers then came across two cars stopped in the road in Western Way, Thamesmead - a dark blue Ford Focus and a grey Audi A3 - containing a total of three occupants.
One of the occupants in the Ford Focus had gunshot wounds.
London Ambulance Service attended and the man, aged in his 20s, was taken to a London hospital where he died at approximately 06:30hrs.
The two other men in the cars were not arrested.
Next of kin have been informed. A post mortem examination and formal identification will take place in due course.
