Murder Investigation Continues After London Shooting

A murder investigation continues in Queensbury after a man was fatally shot.
Police were called to Cumberland Road, HA8 near to Queensbury tube station at 21:02hrs on Tuesday, 1 May, following reports of a shooting.
Armed police and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and found a 38-year-old man suffering from a critical gun shot injury. He died at the scene at 21:58hrs.
Next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination and formal identification will be arranged in due course.
A 26-year-old man attended a north London hospital with a gun shot injury at 21:08hrs. He remains in hospital in a stable condition. Enquiries continue to establish any links between the two men.
Crime scenes were put in place in Cumberland Road, HA8 and in Essoldo Way, HA8 where the attacks are believed to have taken place.
Forensic analysis including ballistic examination was conducted, and CCTV footage in the area is being obtained for review.
The murder investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
No arrests have been made, and enquiries continue.
