Police Appeal After Man Shot In London

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was shot in Goodmayes.

Police were called to the shooting in Green Lane, Goodmayes at 05.49hrs on Wednesday, 1 July.

A man in his 50s was taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital where he is in a critical condition.

Trident officers have launched an investigation.

Detectives believe that a number of shots were fired from a vehicle. Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances and officers retain an open mind as to any motive at this early stage.
