Six Men Arrested After Liverpool Shooting

Merseyside Police has today (Wednesday, 2 March 2016) executed warrants at six addresses and arrested six men as part of the on-going investigation into the murder of Lewis Dunne.

The 16-year-old died after being shot in the Vauxhall area of Liverpool on Sunday, November 15th.

Five of those arrested (a 21-year-old from Kirkdale; a 25-year-old from Birkenhead; a 20-year-old from Walton; a 32-year-old from Kirkdale and a 24-year-old from Kirkdale) were arrested on suspicion of murder. A sixth male, aged 23 years, from Kirkdale, has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Searches at the properties are on-going.

All those arrested have been taken to police stations across Merseyside where they will be questioned.
