Two Teenagers Found With Gunshot Injuries

Police are appealing for information after a shooting in Newham, London.

Police were called at approximately 20:15hrs on Wednesday, 5 November to reports of shots fired in Prince Regent Lane, E16.

Officers attended and discovered two 17-year-old boys with gunshot injuries.

London Ambulance Service attended and both were taken to an east London hospital where they are being treated for their injuries. Both are in a stable condition.

Detectives from the Trident Gang Crime Command are investigating.

Detective Sergeant Jim Eastwood, Trident East Reactive Team, said: "I am appealing for witnesses who may have been present at the time the incident took place to contact police.

"I would like to reassure any potential witnesses who may be worried about making contact with police that Trident has extensive expertise in protecting witnesses and there are a range of measures that can be taken to protect you."
