Update On Suffolk Attempt Murder Case

A 34-year-old man who was arrested in connection with a shooting in Bury St Edmunds has been released on bail.
Police were called at 6.45pm on Tuesday 4 August to reports that a man had been shot in the stomach at an address in Forum Court. The victim, aged in his thirties, was taken to hospital for treatment and remains in a stable condition.
A burnt-out car which was discovered in Rushbrooke Lane at 7.15pm the same evening has also been linked to the investigation following the discovery of a shotgun inside it.
On Saturday 8 August police in south-west England assisting Suffolk Constabulary with the investigation made three arrests.
Dorset Police arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder and a 34-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Both men are from Dorchester.
Later the same day Avon and Somerset Police arrested a 31-year-old man from Bridgwater on suspicion of attempted murder.
The 34-year-old man from Dorchester arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder has been released on police bail until Thursday 24 September pending further enquiries.
The other two men remain in police custody where they are continuing to be questioned by detectives.
Police are appealing for anyone who believes they witnessed any suspicious behaviour at either Forum Court or Rushbrooke Lane on the evening of the shooting to come forward.
